Dr V K Saraswat, Padma Bhushan and Member, NITI Aayog graced the 12th Research Advisory Council (RAC) Meeting of NETRA on 8th Feb in the presence of other RAC members including Shri George Olah, Chair Professor, University of South California, USA, Prof G K Surya Prakash, Director-IIT Bombay, Prof Shireesh B Kedare and Shri U K Bhattachatrya, Former Director (Projects).

Shri Gurdeep Singh, CMD, Shri Jaikumar Srinivasan, Director (Finance) and other senior officials of NTPC were also present in the RAC meeting.

A presentation on ATR of previous RAC and ongoing & upcoming projects of NETRA in the domain of Carbon Capture, Utilisation and Storage, Green Hydrogen, Energy Storage and Ash technologies was made. Dr V K Saraswat and other RAC Members were appreciative of NETRA initiatives. They suggested that NETRA should also get into Coal Gasification, Solar Thermal applications and Innovative Energy Storage.
